I couldn’t sleep recently from all the chatter of my characters in my head. Interestingly, it was Marsha and Carter from Marshmallow who wouldn’t stop talking. For a while, I argued with them, telling them their story was done and they could be quiet now. But when they wouldn’t quit, I had this wild idea... what if I checked in with our favorite couples and see what they're up to now? You know, interview style.

So I gave in to the chatter and got my trusty notes app out and told my characters to go for it. Marsha's busy working on her clothing line launch and Carter's just finished with his latest photo shoot. And let me tell you, these two are just as cute as ever. Seriously, I was sitting there with heart eyes the whole time, lol!

The Interview: Life After "Marshmallow"

Megan: Thanks for taking time to chat with me today! It's been 10 years since you two met during that fateful photoshoot. What's life like now?

Marsha: eyes glistening Honestly? Surreal. When I started as a plus-size Instagram model reclaiming that childhood nickname, I never imagined... takes a deep breath Sorry, I still get emotional about it. Every time I see someone wearing one of my designs, I think about that little girl who was bullied for her size. I wish I could tell her what was coming.

Megan: Carter, you're still modeling but you've also expanded your Judge-Not project. Tell us about that.

Carter: It started small—just me speaking out against the trolls attacking Marsha online. Now we work with schools nationwide on anti-bullying initiatives. looks at Marsha But the clothing line has taken it to another level. Size acceptance through fashion is powerful.

Megan: What's been the biggest challenge in your relationship?

Carter: laughs Well, we did move pretty fast! Engaged within days of meeting...

Marsha: joining in Everyone thought we were crazy! My mother was convinced I'd lost my mind when I called to tell her.
